A lovely and unusual Swedish neoclassical cabinet, with a pleasantly distressed soft yellow, painted finish. The multi-functional piece includes an integrated clock case, several storage areas, and a drop leaf which opens to form a table surface supported by a gate leg. The upper cabinet has three doors, the center door (accessing the clock) with a fluted raised lozenge, or diamond shape, flanked by columns with an arched pediment. The doors on each side (inscribed on the interior) are over small cubby holes behind arched openings. We have not wound or inspected the mechanics of the clock. When we installed the weights, the clock hands spun and the chimes produced a magical, delightful sound.

Very good to excellent antique condition, with an attractive distressed painted finish. Sturdy and sound overall. Clock not in working order. Measurements above are for the cabinet with the table leaf closed. With the table leaf open, the cabinet is 52.5 deep and the table height is 30". Table leaf is 28.5" deep.   Dimensions - 44.25ʺW × 23.5ʺD × 93.5ʺH
